YOU WILL DO WHAT YOU SAID YOU WILL DO
Having a coach will make you be accountable to your goals. We all know how hard it is to keep to schedules and plans. When you have a coach you have someone watching over and making you do what you say you want to do.
A COACH HAS DONE IT BEFORE
One of the major reasons why a coach actually becomes a coach is because they LOVE what they do. Our RunThrough coaches live and breathe running. If you’ve got a questions they will have an answer because not only have they done it before but they have done the appropriate research and learning to give you the best possible solution.
NOT EVERY SCHEDULE FITS ALL
You can ‘google’ best running plans for a 10k but that schedule won’t account for that you have to work late on Tuesdays and can’t do a session or you have to take the kids to Football on Sunday morning so can’t do a run. Running is extremely personal and having a coach will allow your running to be so.
A COACH WILL REDUCE YOUR CHANCE OF INJURY
The biggest cause of injury is doing either too much too soon or too little of something. Having an experienced runner/coach advising you will dramatically reduce the risk of injury you because they will of done it or see the potential issue before.
